The EcoWater RO Carbon Postfilter (7208691) is a replacement postfilter cartridge for use with the EcoWater ERO-335 Reverse Osmosis System.
This EcoWater post filter reduces any remaining unpleasant tastes and odors after the water passes through the prefilter and RO membrane. The EcoWater post-filter is a final polishing filter which uses an activated carbon block to remove any remaining unpleasant tastes and odors. Water passes through this filter immediately before it comes out through the RO faucet for drinking, cooking, and so on.
The EcoWater 7208691 carbon post filter should be replaced about every 6-12 months or more often when you notice the return of unpleasant tastes and odors in the water coming out of the RO system.
